Giving Back to Those Within Our

Circle of Care

Established in 2001, the Lightbridge Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization committed to supporting and adding value to the communities our child care centers serve throughout Florida, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

Teaching Children Generosity

Every Lightbridge Academy center is actively involved in fundraising efforts. Our educators, staff, and children are all regular volunteers. Whether they’re bringing canned goods to support the local food pantry, making snacks to sell at their bake sale, or rolling up their sleeves at the parent car wash, children learn the value of being kind to those in need.

Over $950,000 Donated to
Children and Families

Since the inception of the Lightbridge Foundation, we’ve provided valuable gifts and contributions to those within our Circle of Care, like:

  • $500 scholarships for high school seniors who pursue a college education in early childhood education. It is our hope that they will continue to “pay it forward” by being an inspiration and a future leader.
  • Direct grants to assist parents and families with a wide range of challenges, including treatment for childhood illnesses, support after the devastation of a housefire, assistance with recovering after a natural disaster, and much more.
  • Donations to local charities, including Hometown Heroes, Fighting Children’s Cancer Foundation, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, Philabundance, Om Foundation, Wounded Warrior Project, Spread the Joy, local food banks, and homeless shelters.
  • Volunteering for special projects in our communities.

Corporate Matching Deductions:

Ask your HR department for information on charitable giving sponsored in your workplace. In many cases, your employer will match your gift up to 100%, increasing your charitable impact.

Memorial and Bequests:

We appreciate the generosity of individuals who have remembered us through their estate and asked that memorial donations be directed to our organization. We can assist in planning by providing any necessary paperwork.
