My name is Kayla, and I’m proud to serve as the Center Director here at Lightbridge Academy of Matawan! As an educator and lifelong learner, I’m honored to be a part of the Lightbridge Academy Circle of Care—supporting not only your child, but also your family, our dedicated staff, and the broader community in a nurturing, engaging environment.

My journey with Lightbridge began as the Blue Horse Preschool Lead Teacher at our Lawrenceville location. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of growing into my current role as Center Director, and I bring with me over a decade of experience in early childhood education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Behavior Psychology, with a focus on Child Development.

When I’m not at the center, you’ll likely find me traveling, hiking, reading, or spending time with my sweet dog, Paisley!
