Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Yardley!

Thank you for taking some time to inquire into all that we have to offer both you and your family. We understand how important it is for parents to find and choose loving care and an educationally sound school for their children. My name is Kate Dauphinee and I am the Director of Lightbridge Academy of Yardley. I have a B.A. in Elementary Education, an M.S. Ed. in Teaching English as a Second Language, and an MBA focused in Management, with nearly 15 years of management experience in an educational setting. I am a mom to two fur babies and our son who is enrolled at Lightbridge Academy of Yardley. I truly appreciate and have a heart for the needs of all parents, and recognize the importance of providing nurturing care and education for children. Our Assistant Director, Rebecca Foufas, has been with us since November 2023. She started as an Lead Teacher in our Preschool classroom and was promoted to Assistant Director in January 2024! She comes to us with a degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Temple University and a masters degree in Clinical Psychology with post-graduate work in Applied Behavioral Analysis. Becky has worked in the behavioral health field, focusing on managing student behaviors both at school and at home prior to joining the Lightbridge Academy team. Becky lives local to our center with her husband and her two daughters with her youngest enrolled here at Lightbridge Academy of Yardley. Rounding out our administrative team is our Administrative Assistant, Cleopatra Morrison. Cleo joined the Lightbridge Academy team in June of 2024 with a B.A. in Organizational Psychology and an M.A. in Athletic Leadership. Cleo has worked extensively in the recruitment field after spending time as a respite care worker and behavior technician to children with disabilities as well as a summer camp counselor and elementary school teacher’s assistant. She is a mom to her kitty fur baby, Peppa. Cleo has a true passion and understanding of the importance of early childhood education, making her a vital part of our team!

At Lightbridge Academy of Yardley, your child will be nurtured and cared for in a positive and interactive learning environment. We offer extended day educational programs, for children 6 weeks through Pre-K, year round. We invite you to visit us, and see for yourself, how our Circle of Care Philosophy and Core Values are incorporated into each and every day. We recognize our children, families, staff, and investors as unique individuals who deserve the utmost respect. Our center also offers state of the art technology including a facial recognition system for entry, interactive boards, ParentView camera monitoring, and the Lightbridge Journey App; our e-communication system. These tools all help us reach our goal of keeping parents connected to our center and to their child throughout the day. We strive to meet the needs of our working families as well as our stay-at-home moms/dads who are looking for a program that will offer early education and socialization for their children on a part time basis. To do so, we offer our families flexibility in programming, ranging from 2, 3 or 5 days per week for children ages 6 weeks through Preschool/Pre-K. We take much pride in our Center and in continuing to grow, prioritize maintaining an intimate and warm environment for all. We can’t wait to meet you and have you join our Lightbridge Academy family!
