Since September 2020, our goal is to create a solution for working families, a home away from home for children, and an energetic and highly motivated team of early childhood professionals.

We offer an extended day, year-round educational program for children 6 weeks through pre-K, as well as Summer Camp and backup care for school-aged children. Nothing can replace the peace of mind of staying connected to your child even while you are at work! Families enjoy state-of-the-art technology such as ParentView® Internet Monitoring and real-time updates through our e-communication app.

My name is Lucy Brennan, and I am the Center Director at Lightbridge Academy Somerset. I have my BS in Elementary Education from The College of New Jersey, but somewhere along the way fell in love with Early Childhood Education and am very passionate about the importance of ECE. I absolutely love what I do. I started my Early Childhood career as a Preschool Teacher about 12 years ago. More recently, I worked my way from Lead Teacher to Assistant Director, and eventually Director at another Lightbridge Academy. I am very excited to now be here in Somerset, supporting families in the community in which I live. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my rescue pup Hazel, you may run into us along the Canal Path! I also enjoy reading, camping, hiking, and just enjoying the outdoors.
