At Lightbridge Academy, we believe that every moment is a learning moment—and it shows! Our Seedlings curriculum helps infants, toddlers, and preschoolers hit important developmental milestones while having tons of fun along the way.
Whether you're a busy working parent or a stay-at-home mom or dad looking for part-time socialization and early education, we’ve got something just for you! We offer flexible scheduling options—choose from 2, 3, or 5 days a week for children ages 6 weeks through Pre-K.

Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Matawan! Congratulations on taking the first step toward securing a high-quality educational experience for your child! We’re so excited to meet you and invite you to take a personalized tour of our center, conveniently located in Matawan, NJ—just a short drive from Aberdeen, Cliffwood, Keyport, Old Bridge, and surrounding areas.
My name is Kayla, and I’m proud to serve as the Center Director here at Lightbridge Academy of Matawan! As an educator and lifelong learner, I’m honored to be a part of the Lightbridge Academy Circle of Care—supporting not only your child, but also your family, our dedicated staff, and the broader community in a nurturing, engaging environment.
My journey with Lightbridge began as the Blue Horse Preschool Lead Teacher at our Lawrenceville location. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of growing into my current role as Center Director, and I bring with me over a decade of experience in early childhood education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Human Behavior Psychology, with a focus on Child Development.
When I’m not at the center, you’ll likely find me traveling, hiking, reading, or spending time with my sweet dog, Paisley!
We can’t wait to welcome you into our Lightbridge family and show you what makes our center such a special place for learning, growth, and community.

Can I enroll my child in Lightbridge Academy at any time?
Yes. Enrollment at all Lightbridge Academy locations is ongoing as long as space is available.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of days per week my child can attend Lightbridge Academy?
All Lightbridge Academy locations are open Monday through Friday. Most programs are available from 2 to 5 days per week. Back-up care is available on a daily and space available basis.
