Hi, my name is Amanda Clayton, and I am so excited to be joining the Lightbridge team as the center director! I have been working in Early Childhood Education for 8 years. I completed my Bachelors in Education at NC State, Go Wolfpack!
- I currently live in Clayton with my fiancé and two spoiled pups, Jackson and Lana.
- It is my belief that early childhood education plays such a crucial role in the lives of children; it creates the building blocks for learning, creativity, and exploration.

My name is Alexandria Davis, Alex for short, and I am the assistant director. I graduated from the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill with a bachelor’s in education specializing in Human Development & Family Science. I began working in preschools right after I finished college and found my passion for early childhood education.
- In my free time I enjoy reading, discovering new places, attending sporting events (Go Heels), spending time with my big family, and painting.
- I absolutely love watching children grow and get excited about all the new things they are constantly learning.
- Being able to assist families in all aspects of the preschool journey and love little ones as they begin to discover the world is such an honor and brings me new joys each day.
