Welcome to Lightbridge Academy Holly Springs! From the very first “Hello”, we want every child to feel safe, nurtured, and excited to join our Lightbridge Academy Family.
Hi there! My name is Becky Grovenstein, and I am one of the owners of this amazing school. Before jumping in to a dream of opening a childcare school where trust is at the center of any relationship, I was a elementary music teacher. I truly believe that before any child speaks they sing, before they write they draw, and before the run they dance! I am the lucky mom of two beautiful daughters Hope and Julia Grace. Together as a family we love to go hiking in the mountains or building sandcastles and relaxing at the beach (whatever relaxing looks like at the beach for a mom). I am so excited to meet all of you and welcome you to the Lightbridge Academy Family.
Hi, my name is Brian Grovenstein, I am the ying to Becky’s yang as the other owner of this awesome school. I bring the business, finance and IT talents to our partnership. Not to mention being the father of our two beautiful daughters who teach me something new every day. On the weekends I love to spend time outside or working on a project around the house with the occasional trip to the mountains, beach or to East Carolina University for a football game in the fall. I am looking forward to meeting you all around Lightbridge Academy!
Hello, my name is Jacquie Evans, and I am the Regional Manager for both Lightbridge Academy Apex and Holly Springs. I have worked in the childcare field for 18 years, starting as a support staff member, to a director at Lightbridge Academy Apex, and now a regional manager. I have a real passion for this field and will continue to coach our team as we grow in the area. I am a mom of two active boys Kyle and Bryson. On the weekend I love to spend time with my family, and watching baseball or basketball games.
Hey, My name is Meredith Callahan, I am the Assistant Director. I have been working in Early Childhood education for the past 9 years. My son inspired my love of early childhood and I am in school full time while working full time! I look forward to finishing my degree. I have a passion for all children, but my heart always seems to pull toward the “Terrible Twos”! These children are full of character and joy and are working on becoming their own independent selves and I love helping them explore that. I have been an administrative assistant for 3 years, and now an assistant director here at Lightbridge Academy for 1 year. My favorite part is getting to know all the children in the school as well as build meaningful relationships with the families. I am here for you and really tale the Circle of Care to heart. We are all in this together and I am so thankful you have invited me along to help raise your child with you. What a privilege!
