My name is Alexandra Edwards, and I am so thrilled to be able to bring quality and educational child care to Montgomery County through Lightbridge Academy! When I had my first child, and it was time for me to return to work, it was so important to find a loving, caring, and educational place for my son. It was not an easy task to find the perfect environment. This is why I am beyond grateful to partner with Lightbridge Academy to provide peace of mind to working parents by providing a safe, nurturing environment where your child can learn, grow, and be cared for while you work.

As a mom of three growing children, I know how a well thought-out curriculum fosters great learning and growth. Social and emotional development is also instrumental in teaching our children to be kind friends and responsible citizens. Caring and quality education in the early years can set our children on a trajectory of success as they progress through their educational journey. When I found Lightbridge Academy, I knew it was the right company with which to partner when opening an educational childcare center.

The Lightbridge Academy curriculum and Circle of Care represent what I think is most important in childcare- providing care, consideration, and kindness to every person that our Center impacts, from children, to parents, to staff, to our community, to our world. Lightbridge Academy’s thorough and comprehensive curriculum meets every child where they are, providing multisensory and multidisciplinary learning.
