She is dedicated to elevating awareness about the pivotal role early childhood education plays in shaping future success. Gigi passionately advocates for policies and initiatives that bolster the child care industry, ensuring the delivery of high-quality early education programs.
Gigi’s speaking engagements have taken her to nearly every corner of our 50 states and around the globe, including Malaysia, New Zealand, and China. Her impressive career includes serving as the former Director of the United Nations Child Care Centre and spearheading on-site employer-sponsored child care programs for numerous Fortune 500 companies.
Currently, Gigi holds the position of CEO at Lightbridge Academy, a rapidly expanding franchise company with over 200 educational child care centers in operation or under development throughout key markets in the U.S. She also serves as a board member for Forbes, contributing her expertise to discussions on leadership and industry innovation.
Above all, Gigi Schweikert considers her most cherished accomplishment to be a loving mother to her four wonderful children. Most recently, Gigi has embraced the role of grandmother, joyfully welcoming her first grandson into the family and another on the way.
