Welcome to the Lightbridge Academy of Fort Washington! My name is Jessica Lassiter, I am the Director of Lightbridge Academy of Fort Washington. I have been in the Early Childhood Education industry for over 6 years, and providing the highest quality of care is my passion. I graduated from West Chester University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Masters Degree in ECE Administration. I began my career as a teacher and have held many positions in the ECE community. However, by far, the most rewarding is being a Center Director with Lightbridge Academy. Our Assistant Director is Kathy Duckenfield, and our Administrative Assistant is Verneeza Thomas. Both Kathy & Verneeza have been a part of our Lightbridge Academy family for over 5 years. We look forward to sharing all the great things our center has to offer and how we can help ensure your child has the best early childhood experience in town! Our proprietary Seedings curriculum focuses on the whole child, incorporating areas such as reading and writing readiness, language and literacy, social and emotional development, STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, math), and utilizing the outdoor learning environment for collaborative learning and play. Our center also offers state-of-the-art technology which allows us to reach our goal of keeping parents connected to our center and to their child throughout the day.
