A message from us

As the owner of Lightbridge Academy of Cypress, I want to personally welcome you to our school and thank you for considering us to be part of your family’s journey.

For my family and me, Lightbridge Academy of Cypress is much more than a business—it is an investment in the community we call home. My wife, Liz, our daughter, Maya, and I live right here in Towne Lake. We shop here, dine here, attend local events, support local businesses, and have built friendships throughout the Cypress community. Maya attends school here, and like so many families in our area, much of our daily life revolves around the schools, neighborhoods, activities, and families that make Cypress such a special place to live.

That connection to our community was an important part of why I wanted to bring Lightbridge Academy to Cypress. I wanted to build something that would have a positive impact on the families around us—not simply a childcare center, but a school that could become an important part of a child’s earliest years and a trusted resource for parents.

As a father, I also understand that choosing a childcare center is about much more than finding a convenient place for your child to spend the day. You’re choosing the people who will care for them, encourage their curiosity, celebrate their milestones, comfort them when they need it, and help shape some of their earliest experiences with learning.

That responsibility means a great deal to me.

At Lightbridge Academy of Cypress, our goal is to create a place where children feel safe, happy, and excited to learn; where parents feel connected and confident in the care their children receive; and where our teachers feel supported and proud of the work they do every day.

We believe the best early childhood experiences combine nurturing care with meaningful learning, plenty of exploration, and strong partnerships between families and teachers. We also believe that childhood isn’t about being perfect. It’s about learning, growing, becoming more confident, developing resilience, and getting a little better every day.

Most importantly, we want every child who walks through our doors to know that they belong here.

Because we live here too, the success of Lightbridge Academy of Cypress is personal to me. The families we serve are our neighbors. The children in our classrooms are the children Maya will grow up alongside. And the community we are helping to build is the same community in which we are raising our own family.
