Hello! My name is Suzanne Jacobs, and I’m thrilled to be the Center Director for Lightbridge Academy Cypress. Although I was born in Pennsylvania, I’ve spent most of my life in Texas - I like to say I got down South as fast as I could! For the past 25 years I've had the joy of serving in many roles within early childhood education - teacher, Camp Director, Afterschool Director, Center Director, and even leading a preschool marketing team. I’ve loved every position, but my favorite part has always been the genuine connections I form with my team, the families, and especially the children.

In my free time, I enjoy experimenting with new recipes, relaxing with a good book, and spending time with my husband, six dogs, and one cat (better known as the “six pack plus cat”). I’m excited to join the Lightbridge family and look forward to creating a supportive, safe, and nurturing community for everyone who walks through our doors.
