A Message From Us
We are so thrilled you have taken the time to visit our page, we welcome you to give us a call to learn about our programs! We are Michael and Katerina Kearney, the franchise owners of Lightbridge Academy of Summit, NJ. In addition to working in Essex County schools for over 10 years, we have three incredible children of our own. As educators and parents, we understand the value of high academic standards blended with exceptional child care. Our center director, Celina Galasso, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Child Studies, with a concentration in Family Services. Prior to joining Lightbridge Academy in Millburn, Celina had six years of child care experience, as both an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher for Toddlers and Infants, in addition to three years as an Assistant Director in a private child care center. Our Assistant Director, Michelle Payne has joined our team with both early childhood education and managerial experience. They are passionate about bringing both children and parents together in their love of learning! Together it is our goal to create a nurturing center where we balance care, connection, and a create fun learning environment where everyone feels safe and inspired. Can I enroll my child in Lightbridge Academy at any time?
Yes. Enrollment at all Lightbridge Academy locations is ongoing as long as space is available.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of days per week my child can attend Lightbridge Academy?
All Lightbridge Academy locations are open Monday through Friday. Most programs are available from 2 to 5 days per week. Back-up care is available on a daily and space available basis.
