Hello! My name is Dawn Moonsammy, your Center Director, and I’d like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family from Lightbridge Academy of Port St. Lucie, FL!
With over 18 years of experience in Early Childhood Education — including the past 9 years as a Center Director — I’m thrilled to lead the very first Lightbridge Academy in Florida, right here in the vibrant and growing city of Port St. Lucie.
At Lightbridge Academy, we are passionate about nurturing young minds and creating a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Our unique Circle of Care philosophy reminds us that it truly takes a village to raise a child. This circle includes parents, staff, owners, and our community — all coming together to support your child’s growth, development, and happiness.

Can I enroll my child in Lightbridge Academy at any time?
Yes. Enrollment at all Lightbridge Academy locations is ongoing as long as space is available.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of days per week my child can attend Lightbridge Academy?
All Lightbridge Academy locations are open Monday through Friday. Most programs are available from 2 to 5 days per week. Back-up care is available on a daily and space available basis.
