At Lightbridge Academy, we are the premier daycare/childcare preschool for children in Plano, TX and provide an exceptional early childhood education experience. Our proprietary Seedlings STREAM based curriculum, ParentView cameras, facial recognition entry system, Lightbridge Journey app, extended hours, cleanliness and air purification system sets us apart and is designed to help infants, toddlers, preschool children prepare for kindergarten. A Message From Us
Hello, my name is Chetana Shah, and I am the proud owner of Lightbridge Academy Plano. As a parent myself, I understand how important it is to find a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for your child. That’s why I opened this center — to create a place where children can grow, explore, and learn in an atmosphere that feels like home.
I believe every child is unique, and our approach is to nurture their individual needs and interests while fostering a sense of community, curiosity, and kindness. Our team is committed to providing high-quality care, education, and a warm, supportive space for your child to develop and thrive.
Our wonderful Director is Jess Bryson who loves to work with children and brings a wealth of childcare and operations experience from YMCA and other childcares. Her son is a part of the Lightbridge Academy family and she brings joy to our children, parents, staff and community in our Circle of Care!

Can I enroll my child in Lightbridge Academy at any time?
Yes. Enrollment at all Lightbridge Academy locations is ongoing as long as space is available.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of days per week my child can attend Lightbridge Academy?
All Lightbridge Academy locations are open Monday through Friday. Most programs are available from 2 to 5 days per week. Back-up care is available on a daily and space available basis.
