We are excited to announce that our new state-of-the-art Lightbridge Academy center is currently under construction, with plans to welcome families in Summer 2027!

We invite you to learn more about our programs and the Lightbridge Promise as we prepare to open our doors. As The Solution for Working Families®, we are more than a daycare—we are an extension of your family and a trusted partner in your child’s early education, development, and care.

Our new center will offer Infant, Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K programs, designed to provide children with a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where they can learn and thrive.

A message from us

Hello and thank you for your interest in Lightbridge Academy of Cherry Hill-Coles, NJ! We are a New Jersey-based childcare franchise company operated by co-owners Kal Patel and Peter Patel, bringing their 2nd Lightbridge Academy location to Cherry Hill. Partnering with our Assistant Director, Emiley Mann, and our Regional Manager, Katelyn Kretchmer, we are excited to welcome you to our center soon! Your child’s overall development, along with their health and safety are a top priority for us at Lightbridge Academy, and our ultimate goal is to be your child’s home away from home. We are here to support you and guide you through your child’s early learning years.

The Lightbridge Academy Circle of Care is more than just a philosophy, and our core values are more than just a poster on the wall. They are built on a foundation of family values. You can trust that the Lightbridge Academy staff strives to be living examples of these every day. Our center offers programs for children ages 6 weeks through 13 Years old, offering Infant, Toddler, Preschool/Pre-K, Summer Camp Programs, and Before/After Care programs.

Families enjoy state-of-the-art technology including facial recognition software, Interactive Whiteboards, ParentView® Internet Monitoring Camera System, and the Lightbridge Journey app; our very own E-Communication app! These tools all help us reach our goal of keeping parents connected to our center and their child.

We are also proud to uphold our Lightbridge Promise: industry-leading standards in cleaning and sanitizing, along with our Microcon air-filter system, proven to kill 99.9% of germs, including COVID-19!

Our Seedling curriculum will create a solid foundation for a lifelong love of learning. It is designed to help infants, toddlers, and preschool children meet key developmental milestones. We also incorporate American Sign Language into our daily routines; Singing Sprouts fosters music appreciation in even our youngest learners; Interactive Whiteboard Technology makes learning come alive in our Pre-K classrooms; and throw in our super fun extracurricular activities‚ that is what makes learning at Lightbridge Academy an extraordinary experience.

  • Peter and Kal Patel

    Peter and Kal Patel are proud to bring their second Lightbridge Academy location to Cherry Hill, New Jersey. They also own and operate the existing Lightbridge Academy location in Cherry Hill, making this their second school serving the Cherry Hill community. Peter and Kal have been part of the Lightbridge Academy family for more than 10 years and, together, own and operate four Lightbridge Academy locations. They are passionate about providing high-quality early childhood education and creating a nurturing, enriching environment where children can learn, grow, and thrive. Outside of their work, Peter and Kal are both proud husbands and fathers who enjoy spending time with their families and traveling. They are excited to continue their commitment to the Cherry Hill community and look forward to welcoming even more children and families to the Lightbridge Academy family.
