We are Michael and Katerina Kearney, the franchise owners of Lightbridge Academy of Summit. In addition to working in Essex County schools for over 10 years, we have three incredible children of our own. As educators and parents, we understand the value of high academic standards blended with exceptional child care. Our center director, Celina Galasso, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Family and Child Studies, with a concentration in Family Services. Prior to joining Lightbridge Academy in Millburn, Celina had six years of child care experience, as both an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher for Toddlers and Infants, in addition to three years as an Assistant Director in a private child care center. Our Assistant Director, Michelle Payne has joined our team with both early childhood education and managerial experience. They are passionate about bringing both children and parents together in their love of learning! Together it is our goal to create a nurturing center where we balance care, connection, and a create fun learning environment where everyone feels safe and inspired.
