Welcome!! My name is Elizabeth Ackland and I am the director here at Lightbridge Academy, Iselin. I have been with the Lightbridge family since May of 2013 starting at our Rutherford location, as well as over 7 years experience as a teacher. I currently have my son Liam who attends our Blue Horses classroom here at Iselin! Our assistant director, Jessica Crimmins started with us this year! She comes to us with over 9 years of experience as a teacher/administrator. We know that leaving your children in our capable hands takes a big leap of trust, and we thank you for allowing us to have that honor. We pride ourselves on the ability to be the solution for working parents. When you drop your child off at our location, you are still able to be connected to their day through the use of our extensive technology systems. From the moment you check in with Procare upon entry to the center, to having the ability to stay connected to your child with our Parentview system, to getting surprise photos and video clips; as well as instant daily reports with Tadpoles Communication Technology, you are involved in every aspect of their care and learning, even when you can't physically be with them. Every moment is a learning moment at Lightbridge Academy and it shows! Our curriculum is designed to help infants, toddlers and preschool children meet key developmental milestones but that is not all! We also incorporate American Sign Language into our daily routines, and our music program, Singing Sprouts fosters music appreciation in even our youngest learners! We also have Interactive Whiteboard Technology that makes learning come alive in our Pre-K classrooms. We would love for you to visit us! We have an open door policy from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm.
