Trina Anderson
Owner, Lightbridge Academy of Jacksonville Northside
Hello, and welcome! I’m Trina Anderson, and I’m proud to bring Jacksonville’s first Lightbridge Academy to our Northside community.
My journey to Lightbridge is both professional and personal. With a master’s degree in education and a background as an educator, I believe the early years help shape a child’s confidence, relationships, and lifelong love of learning. As a wife, mother, and grandmother, I also understand how much trust it takes to choose someone to care for and educate your child. Every family deserves to know their child is known, nurtured, and encouraged.
My husband, John, and I chose Lightbridge Academy because its philosophy of caring for the entire family reflects our own values. We were drawn to Lightbridge Academy’s commitment to early childhood education and its role as a dependable partner for working families. We wanted to bring that same sense of care and connection to Lightbridge Academy of Jacksonville Northside.
My vision is to create a welcoming school where children are excited to learn, teachers feel valued, and parents feel confident and supported. As an owner, I am committed to being present, getting to know our families, listening to their needs, celebrating milestones, and building relationships throughout our community.
Working alongside our Director, Maribel, I look forward to bringing this vision to life. For our family, this is an opportunity to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and the families who entrust us with their care.

Maribel Walther
Center Director, Lightbridge Academy of Jacksonville Northside
Hello! I’m Maribel Walther, and I’m excited to meet you and your family.
With a degree in education and more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education, I have had the joy of helping children learn, grow, and discover what they can do. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is watching a child’s confidence blossom, whether they are making a new friend, trying something for the first time, or proudly sharing something they have learned.
I know that feeling comfortable with the people caring for your child makes all the difference. I want you to feel welcome to ask questions, share concerns, and tell us about the little things that make your child unique. Together, we can help your child feel at home and make those early school experiences positive and meaningful.
I also love encouraging and supporting teachers. My experience teaching current and aspiring early childhood educators as an adjunct instructor deepened my appreciation for the care, creativity, and dedication teachers bring to their classrooms. I look forward to helping our team create days filled with exploration, discovery, and moments of joy.
Working alongside Trina, I am excited to build a school community where children feel loved and encouraged, families feel connected, and teachers feel supported. I can’t wait to meet your family and be part of your child’s learning journey!
