Alison & Joe Friedman – Managing Owners
As proud owners of Lightbridge Academy Huntersville and Steele Creek, we’re honored to bring this exceptional early childhood experience to Charlotte. With backgrounds in the packaging industry, our passion for community and family inspired us to join Lightbridge Academy, whose core values—care, excellence, happiness, and integrity—mirror our own.

Paige Garny – Center Director
I began my career in early childhood education in 2016 and have been passionate about nurturing young minds ever since. I’m dedicated to fostering strong relationships with families and helping each child grow at their own pace through our Seedlings curriculum. Creating a warm, supportive environment is at the heart of everything I do.

Ashlie Serrano – Program Coordinator
Starting in 2009, I began my early childhood career. I love inspiring creativity and hands-on learning every day. I’m passionate about building lasting relationships with families and creating meaningful classroom experiences.

Alyssa Eudy – Administrative Assistant
As a lifelong childcare professional and Charlotte native, I’m proud to support our teachers, families, and community. I’ve been part of Lightbridge Huntersville since we opened and love seeing the joy and growth that happen here every day.

Yes. Enrollment at all Lightbridge Academy locations is ongoing as long as space is available.

All Lightbridge Academy locations are open Monday through Friday. Most programs are available from 2 to 5 days per week. Back-up care is available on a daily and space available basis.

Effective communication happens on an ongoing and daily basis through our parent eCommunication app. You will receive ongoing and daily reports detailing important classroom announcements, reminders, photos, and videos so you won’t miss a thing! It is also a great tool for doctor visits helping to keep track of important information such as what your child ate, how they slept and even potty details. In addition, teachers will track your child’s development by taking observation notes based on our curriculum. We review this information with you twice a year at our Parent Teacher conferences. Of course, directors and teachers are always available to speak with you at any time.

Each Lightbridge Academy center meets or exceeds state regulations regarding adult to child ratios. You can rest assured that your child will receive an abundance of attention from trained and caring early childhood professionals.
