Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Gallatin, TN! We serve families in both the Hendersonville and Gallatin communities as well as broader Sumner and Davidson counties. More than a daycare but the Solution for Working Families®, our state-of-the-art childcare center is currently enrolling for our Infant, Toddler, Preschool, & Pre-K programs for the Fall 2026. Spots fill quickly as we enter the school year, so please do not wait to tour our facility, set up a play date free of charge, or enroll directly. A message from us

Welcome and thank you for your interest in Lightbridge Academy of Gallatin, TN! From the moment we greet every family in the morning to the last goodbye at the end of the day, our goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment where each child feels supported and inspired to learn. We strive to be a trusted partner in your child’s growth, development, and education every step of the way.

 

Leading our Gallatin family is Ross Verploegh, our Onsite Owner, in partnership with Steve DiNunzio, who has owned three Lightbridge Centers for over a decade and graduated hundreds of children to kindergarten. Our Center Director and native Tennessean, DaVonna Britton, brings over 20 years of experience in childcare with degrees in Early Childhood Education. Our Assistant Director, Alexis Hahola, started her career as an infant teacher with Lightbridge Academy and will be celebrating her 5th year anniversary with us this August. Most of our teachers, both lead and supporting, have been with Lightbridge Academy for over 1 year, with several having been serving children and families since we opened in 2022. Our dedicated team love children, and we show this everyday by providing high-quality care while embracing the Lightbridge Academy Philosophy, Mission and Vision, and Core Values.

 

Our Lightbridge Academy Circle of Care is more than just a philosophy, and our core values are more than just a poster on the wall. They are built on a foundation of family values, and you can trust that the Lightbridge Academy staff strives to be living examples of these every day. Our entire staff is committed to supporting you as parents, making your life less stressful and providing the highest quality of care in an interactive and fun learning environment. We understand how important it is for you to feel connected to your child throughout the day, and we do our best to promote the most open lines of communication. We use the dedicated Lightbridge Journey app to share developmental milestones through daily reports with pictures and videos. We are also the only childcare facility in Middle Tennessee to offer live, full-day video streaming through our ParentView app – if your child takes their first steps with us or learns difficult alphabet letters, you will be able to share in the moment.

 

Every moment is a learning moment at Lightbridge Academy, and it shows! Our proprietary Seedlings curriculum is designed to help infants, toddlers and preschool children meet key developmental milestones but that’s not all! We also incorporate American Sign Language into our daily routines, and hold extracurriculars such as karate and cooking classes. Our Singing Sprouts music program fosters music appreciation in even our youngest learners while Interactive Whiteboard Technology, which is used only to complement our curriculum, makes learning come alive in our Pre-K classrooms.
