Welcome to the Lightbridge Academy of Fort Washington! My name is Allison Wagman-Menno, I am the Director at Lightbridge Academy of Fort Washington! I have been in the Early Childhood Education industry for over a decade, and providing the highest quality of care is my passion. I graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies. Our Assistant Director, Kathy Duckenfield, has been a part of our Lightbridge Academy family for over 5 years!

Lightbridge Academy of Fort Washington is NOW ENROLLING! Families are welcome to schedule a tour and discover why our parents experience peace of mind knowing that their children are receiving the best possible care, along with a quality early childhood education program for Infants, Toddlers, Preschool and Pre-K children! Our state-of-the-art child care center has been scrubbed and sanitized from top to bottom and enhanced health and safety procedures are in place. We are so grateful that you are considering us to care for your child! From the first hello of the day to the last good-bye, we want every child to feel safe, nurtured, and excited to learn and grow with us, and for you to consider us a true partner in the development and education of your child. We go beyond what’s expected, creating a one-of-a-kind educational experience for the children we care for and the families who cherish them. The early years of life are the most crucial and set the foundation for a lifelong love of learning. Our proprietary Seedings curriculum focuses on the whole child, incorporating areas such as reading and writing readiness, language and literacy, social and emotional development, STREAM (science, technology, reading, engineering, art, math), and utilizing the outdoor learning environment for collaborative learning and play. Our center also offers state-of-the-art technology which allows us to reach our goal of keeping parents connected to our center and to their child throughout the day.
