A Message From Us
Welcome to Lightbridge Academy of Rutherford! We have been proudly serving Bergen County families including nearby towns such as Nutley, East Rutherford, Secaucus, Wood-Ridge, and Lyndhurst for over a decade, and we are so thankful to have created endless memories with hundreds of wonderful families! My name is Dina Tirgrath and I am the Center Director. I have my Bachelor’s Degree in Child Advocacy from Montclair State University and have been at the Rutherford Center for the past 11 years where I have worked as an Assistant Teacher and Lead Teacher in our Mobile Infant and Young Toddler classrooms! I am a wife and a mother to a fun and energetic German Shepherd puppy and an Auntie to my wonderful triplet nieces who have also attended this school! In my spare time, I love to spend time with family, go on road trips with my husband and pup and get involved in the community at different events! Agata Wyszomirski is the Assistant Director. She has her Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and has worked for Lightbridge Academy for over 12 years. Agata is a wife and mother and enjoys spending time with her family and two golden doodles. In her spare time she enjoys gardening, arts & crafts and photography! We are all family here, and we invite you to join us and our Circle of Care!
We are here for you, working families. We know it isn’t easy to leave your young children in the hands of others, but we thank you for trusting us and giving us the opportunity to be a part of your wonderful family! We provide various ways to stay connected to your child throughout the day! We offer ParentView® Internet Monitoring, a live-feed camera to see into each classroom; our Lightbridge Journey app to send you fun pictures throughout the day, and Skype on our Whiteboards in our Preschool – Kindergarten classrooms! You’re never far away during your work day! We are here Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am – 6:30 pm. We invite you to join our Lightbridge Academy Rutherford family!

Can I enroll my child in Lightbridge Academy at any time?
Yes. Enrollment at all Lightbridge Academy locations is ongoing as long as space is available.
Is there a minimum or maximum number of days per week my child can attend Lightbridge Academy?
All Lightbridge Academy locations are open Monday through Friday. Most programs are available from 2 to 5 days per week. Back-up care is available on a daily and space available basis.
